Accessibility Statement

Last updated: July 18, 2026

The Intergalactic Academy of Arts & Sciences ("IAAS", "we", "us") is committed to making our site usable by everyone, regardless of ability. Access is one of our core pillars — it applies to how we build, not just what we teach.

Our Standard

We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA across the site: sufficient color contrast, visible focus states on every interactive element, semantic headings and landmarks, keyboard-operable navigation and forms, and alt text on meaningful images.

Motion & Animation

Cinematic effects (orbital rings, dust particles, the video hero, constellation animations) respect your device's prefers-reduced-motion setting. If you've asked your operating system to reduce motion, this site turns those effects off automatically and shows static equivalents.

Keyboard & Screen Readers

Every page includes a "Skip to content" link for keyboard users, and interactive controls (nav, forms, buttons, modals) are reachable and operable via keyboard alone. Live regions announce form status messages to screen readers.

Ongoing Work

Accessibility is an ongoing practice, not a one-time fix. If you encounter a barrier anywhere on this site, please tell us — we treat accessibility bugs like any other bug and prioritize fixing them.
